Dental Staff

Dr. Shahidi moved from California to the New England area 25 years ago to attend Boston University Dental School.  She has been a practicing dentist in the Tewksbury/Wilmington area since 2001.  She is an active member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society.  She is closely attuned to all recent developments in dental aesthetics and digital radiography and is proud to make it available to our patients.  Dr. Shahidi often says that due to her own huge fears of the dentist, she has a  better understanding of what patients are going through.

Meaghan Murray, DMD joined Tewksbury Family Dental in 2019. She looks forward to providing health care for the entire family and enjoys seeing children as well as adults.

Dr. Murray loves connecting with people and getting to know her patients. She will work with you to create a comprehensive treatment plan in a caring, compassionate manner. From planning a full mouth case to routine cleanings, Dr. Murray will address your concerns and help you achieve a healthy smile.

Dental Training & Education

Dr. Murray has always lived in Massachusetts and is originally from Haverhill. She graduated from Tufts University in Medford, MA, where she received her bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Art History.

She also graduated Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Murray is a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society.

Personal Biography

Dr. Murray is currently living in Malden, MA. Outside of the office, Dr. Murray loves to read, bake, do yoga and spend time with her husband and her two French Bulldogs Ernie and Olive.

Dr. Tran is a native of Massachusetts and a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He spent several years practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in New Hampshire and California before returning home to settle down. Dr. Tran is committed to providing quality care in a friendly, comfortable setting. The patients are his priority, and he works to design practical treatment options to address the needs and concerns of each individual patient.

When he is not in the office, you will most likely find Dr. Tran spending time with his family, exploring the Boston area, or taking long walks on the beach.

Raised in Georgia with her parents, brother, and sister Dr. Yi moved to Mass to complete her dental education at Boston University. She completed a year of general practice residency at Cambridge health alliance and Harvard dental school.
Dr. Yi joined our practice in 2018 and has continued delivering her expertise with a gentle touch. Her quiet confident bedside manner is comforting for our patients receiving treatment.
In her free time Dr Yi enjoys traveling with her husband and time with friends as well as jewelry making.

Maria is a graduate of Middlesex Community College.  She is a licensed hygienist who has been with Tewksbury Family Dental since July of 2010.  She very much enjoys the relationship between patient and hygienist.  Gaining trust and allowing the patient to be comfortable is a priority.  Raising three children has helped her to become a better hygienist in the areas of nurturing and caring for individuals.  

When not working she enjoys any activity that includes her husband and three adult kids.  She has a married daughter who is a successful speech therapist, a son who is a sergeant with the U.S. Army, and a younger daughter who is getting married this October.   In between the wedding preparations she loves to fit in a round of golf or two with the family.

Elaina has grown up in dental offices. Starting out as front desk during high school, then assisting, before finding her passion in 2003 with hygiene.
She has been with our office since 2010 and prides herself on giving the highest level of care with a gentle hand. She enjoys educating patients on their oral health and how it connects to their whole body health.
In her free time you’ll find Elaina running to the sporting events of her three children and spending time with her husband and their dog. She also enjoys DYI projects and challenging herself to try new things. She’s always up for making great conversation.

Nataliya Joined Tewksbury Family Dental in 2022 and is happy to work with Dr. Shahidi, Murray, Tran, Yi, and Trodella and their wonderful team.  Nataliya started dentistry as a dental assistant before continuing to dental hygiene school, where she earned her license as a registered dental hygienist in 2014.  She is proud to help patients lead healthier lives.  Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Skyla joined Tewksbury Family Dental in January 2023.  Skyla Graduated from Middlesex Community College in 2017 with Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene. Further continued education and graduated from Vermont State University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2022.  She enjoys the outdoors, the beach specifically. She enjoys thrifting, working out, comedy, and music!

Gina is a dedicated dental hygienist who began her career as a dental assistant before advancing her education. She is passionate about promoting oral health and creating a comfortable, positive experience for her patients. She looks forward to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles.Outside of the office, Gina enjoys walking her dog Kate, going to the beach and concerts, and reading psychological thriller books.

Valerie joined our team back in 2019. She has been a dental assistant for many years and brings her vast knowledge in all aspects of dentistry as well as a warm, calming, and fun personality. Outside of dentistry, Val enjoys spending time with her husband Carl and their growing family and grandson and dog Troy. Val enjoys  running, biking and weekend getaways in the white mountains.

Gladys is one of our newest addition to our office ,and we're so happy to have her. She is a certified dental assistant. She graduated from Northern Essex Community College in 2001 and has been working in the dental field for over 18 years. She is highly skilled and has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. She strives to stay up to date on the latest technology and advancements in dentistry by attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Gladys enjoys spending time with her family, exercising in her free time, and traveling.

Megan has been working in the dental field for over 15 years. She began her career first as a dental assistant and then transitioned towards the front desk to assist in patient management. 

Megan really enjoys patient care. She is your go to person for any insurance or billing questions you may have and truly enjoys assisting patients through the sometimes confusing insurance process. She will help you every step of the way. 

On her spare time she loves spending quality time with her husband and daughter, Sophia.

Kristin has worked at Tewksbury Family Dental as a Customer Relations Specialist for over 11 years. She assists patients in making appointments, understanding their insurance benefits and treatment planning. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, CrossFit, gardening and horseback riding.
